Giving Back at Advantage Self Storage Property Management
Advantage Storage and its employees are grateful for their success and have sought opportunities to support the community and region in which they live and work. They have elected to focus their support on the Samaritan Inn, Collin County’s only homeless shelter and the Shriners Hospital for Children.
The Samaritan Inn is more than just a place to spend the night. It is a holistic program that teaches self-sufficiency and life skills. To assist the needs of individuals and families before, during, and after a homeless situation, The Samaritan Inn provides interactive, in-house programs for its residents and graduates. Those with special needs are referred to additional programs and resources available within the community to help during their crisis.
“I know of no better place to invest in the future of our community than the Samaritan Inn. The Inn serves the homeless, but it doesn’t leave them there. It structures a process whereby the residents gain dignity and independence, and rejoin the productive contributors of our community.” – Rick Jones, President, Advantage Storage
The Galveston Shriners Hospital provides acute, reconstructive, and rehabilitative care for children with burns and other soft tissue conditions. Since the hospital entered the burn care field in 1966, the survival rate of children with burns over more than 50 percent of their body surface has doubled. With more than 50 years of experience delivering world-class pediatric burn care, The Galveston Shriners Hospital is grateful for the generosity of donors, who allow them to continue to carry out their mission.
